Teal Sound Exhibition 02/24newsimage

The FFCC is pleased to announce that the Teal Sound Drum and Bugle Corps will perform an exhibition at the March 3rd Percussion Focus East show at Fleming Island HS. The performance will take place at 8:00 PM following the last unit in finals and prior to the awards ceremony.

Teal Sound is located in the River City of Jacksonville, Florida and represents the state as Florida's premier DCI touring Drum & Bugle Corps. 2012 will mark the corps' third season as a DCI World Class corps. In 2007, they were the DCI Open Class Bronze Medalist.

March 3 Contest Schedule Adjustments 02/24

Due to a combination of factors, late entries have been accepted for both the March 3rd Percussion Focus East show and the March 3rd Seminole HS colorguard show. The schedules for both shows have been updated online and have been posted in Dropbox.

WGI Promotions! 02/24

As a result of their performances at the Feb. 11th WGI Orlando Regional, Winter Guard International has promoted Nease HS and Cypress Creek HS to Scholastic Open Class. This promotion is recognized by the FFCC and will take effect immediately. Thus there has been an adjustment to the schedule for this week's contest at Lyman HS. Per FFCC policy no unit will be performing any earlier than the time originally posted when the schedule locked.

March 3 Schedules Locked 02/23

Registration for the March 3rd Percussion Focus East show at Fleming Island HS, and the Seminole HS colorguard contest is now closed and the schedules are locked. No unit will be required to perform earlier than the time posted now. The only possible changes to the schedule will come from promotions.

FFCC Announces Partnership With Hilton Hotel In Daytona 02/22newsimage

The FFCC has entered a partnership with the Hilton Hotel Ocean Front in Daytona Beach for FFCC Championships.
Located on Daytona'a only traffic free beach in the heart of Ocean Front Village directly across from the Ocean Center Convention Center, location of the 2012 FFCC Championships, this hotel is the perfect location for your FFCC Championship experience. There are five restaurants in the hotel and it is within walking distance to all events at the Ocean Center, not to mention the fantastic ocean views.

This hotel with 744 renovated guest rooms, cabanas and suites has created special pricing and incentives for our event. The rate is $119.00 per night up to quad occupancy. In addition the Hilton is granting a special overnight parking rate for their guests of $5.00 per car (normally $10.00) this is in/out service as opposed to the $10.00 per car at the Ocean Center. As an added incentive, the FFCC is having a drawing for a free room night. For every room booked you will receive an entry into our drawing for one free room night. Drawing to be held March 17 at the Freedom High School Contest. Guests will also receive one additional spectator pass for the FFCC Championships.

Make your reservations early the FFCC has only blocked a limited number of rooms and when those are booked the price will increase. Contact Sales Manager, Karen Szemborski at (386)947-8013 to make your reservations today!
