Required Unit Documents

The FFCC requires several important documents in order for units to be able to perform. With premier quickly approaching, there are still many units missing important information. You should be contacted by your class representative this week if you still have outstanding documents. Enclosed are details regarding the specifics of these required documents and contact information.

Liability Insurance Issues

o   Liability Insurance certificates must show either the organization or the school district as the covered party.

o   If the organization goes by a different name (“Boy Scout Troop 543” DBA “Colorguard XYZ”, etc.), please make sure they know to make me aware of that.

o   Liability Insurance certificates must show the amount of coverage 

·         Roster Issues

o   Rosters for SCHOLASTIC units must include the principal’s signature.

o   Rosters for Independent units do not need to be signed.

o   If a scholastic unit consists of more than one school from the district, the roster must be signed by the principal of the sponsoring high school. It must also indicate the schools of attendance of each participant.
